Apoptose: Apoptosis (or programmed cell death) is the process by cells trigger their self destruction in response to a signal. This is one of the possible pathways of cell death which, physiological and genetically programmed is necessary for the survival of multicellular organisms. Apoptose is a short movie inspired by the hand-drawn series "Nightmares" and the screen printing series "Moon", both from visual artist Sophie Le Meillour. Brought to life by Fabrice Strazinskas through creative coding, the project explores mysterious black and white living ecosystems where entities, volumes and scales seem to follow their own rules inside a vast emptiness. Directed by Sophie Le Meillour, Fabrice Starzinskas. Visual Creation by Sophie Le Meillour and Fabrice Starzinskas. Sound creation by Juan Pablo Espinoza and Hervé Moire.
Of Matter and Spirit: "Of Matter and Spirit" is a video game developed by Emile Barret for Swiss/Nepalese-Tibetan artist Aïsha Devi and her eponymous album, encapsulating the spiritual metamorphosis and transcendental journeys of this other-worldly figure. With images from Chinese artist Tianzhuo Chen, the game is a virtual extension of the thematic of the LP, through its whole architecture based on the Kundalini ascension with a structure towards enlightenment, here converted into an even more immersive experience. Directed by Emile Barret. Game by Emile Barret, sound design by Paul Barret.
